Getting Sandal Ready

It's finally summertime here in the UK, so that means it's time to get those feet out, wear so cute sandals & colourful nail polish.

However as we all know it's not quite that simple.
So here's how I get my feet summer ready.

1.  Removing any old nail polish
This is a must. You need to get off any old or chipped polish that you have on your toes. I like to use cotton rounds & Cutex Moisture Guard nail polish remover. This nail polish remover is great for dry nails.

2. Trim your toenails
This is another must. Simply because nails that are too long & unkept aren't very nice. Also if you don't trim your toenails they can start to grow under the skin, which is painful!

3. Buff feet
Now it's time to buff off any excess or dry skin on your feet. There are various tools you can use to do this, I just use a manual Scholl one (as pictured above).

4. Apply foot cream
Now that your feet are all smooth it's time to apply some foot cream. Sandal weather means the skin on your feet is very exposed and can get very dry. By applying a foot cream regularly you won't need to spend as much time buffing your feet next time round. The foot cream I'm currently loving is Heel Genius by Soap & Glory.

5. Apply fresh nail polish
This is optional. However I always feel like toenails look 100% better when they're painted. Especially if you're getting them out a lot.

Love Eve xx
