Muscle Crate

As you guys might know if you've been following me on various social media I have got very into fitness recently. I have been hitting the gym at least 5 times a week since February!

So I wanted to start getting into the whole supplement thing a bit, but it's such a huge market, where do you start??

So I decided a good way to test out products is a subscription box.

I noticed this company kept popping up on my Facebook so I decided to look into them, they're called Muscle Crate.

I did actually contact them regarding my gluten intolerance & they were very good about it saying they'd make a notice on my subscription. I have received one product, but really I'm not that fussed.

The box pictured below is April's box (sorry this blog post is a little late).
As you can see the box is FULL of supplement samples from capsules to pre workouts.

I honestly feel like if you're looking to just try a lot of different flavours & products is short period, this box is definitely the way forward. I also gave my boyfriend a few of the samples to try if there were duplicates. Sometimes there are but I see that as no bad thing, especially if you're like me & like to share it out a bit.

I have now used this whole box, but it did take me a month to do so! Which is ideal because by that time the next one is on it's way!

I would also like to note that the brands provided in the box are all good quality brands which I have heard of before. They really have put some hard work in to connecting & working with some of the best/ well known nutrition companies in the world.
It is still early days for the company, however I can definitely see this working.

So if you are just getting into fitness & want to try a few new things give this box a go.
You don't have to seriously commit either as they have a 1 month rolling contract available.

Recycling Glossyboxes!

If any of you guys have subscription boxes, you'll know how much of a shame it is to bin the boxes once you've had the goodies inside.

I'm currently subscribed to Glossybox and they have some very cute boxes so I like to keep them. However lets face it we cannot just hoard boxes!

So I wanted to tell you guys about some ways in which I have decided to reuse/ recycle my Glossybox boxes.

1. Nail Polish/ Hair Accessory storage.

So here is just a normal Glossybox I've simply thrown out the lid and placed the box into my Ikea Alex drawers.
I noticed when I just put my nail polishes in a drawer they would just fall over or get thrown around whenever I open the drawer. By storing them in a Glossybox they stay in place in the drawer. If you have more polishes than me you could use more Glossyboxes to store them.

Another thing that seems to fly everywhere or move, where ever you put them... hair clips!
You could also store you hair ties & bobby pins in the hope of not losing them (optimistic I know)!

2. Photograph storage.

This box was the Love Edition Glossybox from February. I loved this packaging & just couldn't throw it out.
So what better way to continue the message than to store my polaroid photographs in there!
I haven't got many in there at the moment, I know. I really need to start using my polaroid camera more!

I have kept the lid for this box because polaroid photographs last longer when they are stored away from light. Light bleaches them, causing the colour & details to fade.

I do have some other Glossyboxes I have yet to put to use. To be honest though you could use them to store anything small enough to fit in them and they themselves fit in most drawers.
(The Alex drawers I keep mine in are the smaller more shallow ones.)

They can be a really useful storage system, so don't just throw them out!

Glossybox time!

Are you guys sick of these posts yet? I hope not!
Yes I received another Glossybox!

This time it's just the standard pink box, still cute but not as nice as last month's box (The Love Edition).
You actually get more in this month's box though, which is always nice.
Four full sized items & two sample sizes. Which is quite the bargain for roughly £10 a box!

Products in the box:
- Naobay Moisturizing Peeling
- Essence Lash Princess mascara
- Sleek Pout Paint in Minx
- NCLA Nail Polish
- Dove Youthful Vitality shampoo
- Dove Youthful Vitality conditioner

Check out the video below to see the unboxing!

Glossy January..

We are into a new month and with that comes... A Glossybox!

This is the last of my three gifted Glossyboxes, however I have continued another three month plan.
I think these boxes are a great way to try products you didn't even know about! I've also had some really good stuff in my previous boxes!

However with this box I somewhat feel like they've missed the mark, for me anyway.
Some of these products I'm not sure fit the details I gave them regarding my skin type etc.

I'll see how the products go, you never know I might love them! We'll just have to wait & see!

The December Glossybox

My Glossybox subscription is quickly becoming my favourite thing!
I love receiving things in the post and this has to be one of the best!

For a start look that how cute this Christmas themed December box is, I can't even..

As it's December this month's box contains 4 full sized products & 1 mini!
Which is definitely worth more than the £10 a month cost.
