I know Halloween has been & gone, but it doesn't have to be that way!
We all know that whenever there is a holiday is a Lush aftermath that follows.
So prepare for some more Lush reviews.
Today we're going to be talking about Lush's Pumpkin bath bomb. I believe this is a return item, so it did appear in last years collection.
Lush say this is a vanilla & spicy cinnamon bath bomb which is sweet & comforting. Think baking cinnamon bread! That's this bath bomb. Personally I really loved this bath bomb!
I know I'll definitely be picking some up next year.
Do you ever receive a product a feel a bit scared of it (sounds silly I know, haha)?
This is one of those products, I think it's the word 'peeling' & the fact that I'd never heard of this brand before.
This is the Naobay Moisturizing Peeling.
So was I right to be scared??
No, it's actually not that scary, however I do want to note that there are absolutely no instructions on how to to use this product on the packaging. Which I find a bit weird. So I actually googled it & it said to damp the face, gently massage in then wash off.
It has some kind of sandy beads (probably microbeads), which sound quite harsh however if you are gentle they aren't harsh at all. I really like products like this as they really feel like they're cleaning your face.
The product itself is actually quite watery which makes it a little messy to work with, but it's manageable. It also has a very strong orange scent, which I actually don't mind.
As for the results of this product, after using it I instantly noticed that my skin was incredibly smooth & really soft! If you have sensitive skin it can leave you looking a little red for a short period after. However blood coming to the surface of the skin isn't a bad thing!
I also noticed that my blackheads & pores looked reduced after using this, which is a quality I look for in most skincare products.
Overall I'm really starting to like this product & plan to add it into my regular skincare routine!
We all have things that we can't go without on their bedside tables.
So I thought I would show you guys some of the items that are 'bedside staples' for me!
1. A Candle
I love burning candles especially when I'm in bed chilling in the evening. Whether I'm reading, blogging or just watching some tv, I just feel candles add a nice warmth to the room.
At the moment I'm burning an Ikea candle in the orange scent. Reece also has one of these on his bedside table, as he loves this scent too!
2. Apple TV Remote
I find that sometimes tv programming is pretty rubbish so I like to use my Apply TV a lot! I use it mostly to watch Netflix or Youtube videos! There are loads of other apps on there too but those are my most used. You can also watch any films you've rented or purchased on your App Store account.
3. Vaseline/ Lip Balm
I always like to keep a lip balm or tub of Vaseline on my bedside table as I like to apply some before I go to sleep. That way it has all night to moisturise my lips without me drinking or eating, which can rub it off. This also comes in extra handy if you're ill, as Vaseline can be used for anything.
Currently I'm using Vaseline Pink Bubbly.
4. Hand cream
Hand cream is again something I like to apply at night as it gives it time to sink into the skin. However I do also spend a lot of time in the day working sat on my bed so it's also handy (haha, get it) then too. At the moment I'm using Soap & Glory's Hand Food.
This hand cream is great as it is non-greasy.
5. A book
I don't read much these days, but I want to. So I've actively been trying to make myself read more. I find keeping a book on my bedside table encourages me to read more, even if it's just a few pages before I go to sleep. I sometimes find it makes me a little sleepy, where as sometimes watching tv keeps me awake. The book that I'm currently reading is The Glam Guide.
I don't know about you guys but I love candles, especially ones that smell amazing.
However I'm not one to spend all my money on them!
So I wanted to talk about an absolute bargain of a candle.
This is one of Ikea's candles, which retail for only £2.50.
This one is an orange scented one and oh my god, it is gorgeous!
Such a fresh & lovely scent which I think is suitable for being burnt at any time of year.
This candle is called Sinnlig and they come in a variety of scents and burn for up to 40 hours.
These candles are great if you like to bulk buy. They do kick of some smell but aren't too overpowering, which I think is just perfect. I don't like candles that are too strong.
