As most of you know by now I'm quite a big fan of Benefit Cosmetics as a brand.
They're packaging & products are generally amazing!
So I decided to finally try their Roller Lash Mascara.
I love the They're Real mascara & have claimed it as my holy grail since trying it. However when my eyes are feeling sensitive I just can't wear it. There's something about either the formula or the wand that just makes my eyes go crazy!
Hence why I wanted to try this one, as it claims to be more of a natural not so intensive lash look.
First of all, as usual Benefit are killing it with the cute packaging. A lot of brands really don't try when it comes to sample sizes, not Benefit though!
Onto the shape of the wand, it looks great. I have tried curved wands in the past (by Maybelline) and really liked them, I think they really can help keep a curl! This one is exactly the same. Even without curling my lashes this mascara gave them an awesome curl. I was even getting compliments on how nice my lashes looked (that says something).
The formula is also really nice! It doesn't disappear halfway through the day or flake away. The formula & wand also (most importantly) don't hurt or bother my eyes in the slightest! Ideal!
Overall I think Benefit have done it again & made a really amazing mascara.
I can definitely see myself buying the full size of this once I run out!
This is a review I've been wanting to do for some time!
Younique are a make up company similar to Avon in the sense of you buy from a representative of the brand.
They're a company that I see all over social media, mostly for their star product which is there 3D Fiber Lash.
One of their representatives reached out to me & asked me to review the product.
So here are my thoughts!
Firstly a bit of info about this product. It's meant to be instead of mascara & meant to work 100 times better! It's a two step product where you apply the transplanting gel first then the fibres.
The fibres are meant to create a very full, false lash effect.
The packaging is very substantial which in some ways is nice & others not so. It's good as it means the packaging isn't likely to break and I quite like the quilted effect. However it's not very travel friendly.
So the product itself I actually really like!
I was worried that the fibres would create a clumpy look on my lashes however this isn't the case. I like to do two coats of this product to achieve a long & full lash look.
As for my sensitive eyes (I suffer from Blepharitis), they're fine with this product! I have only used this on what I call 'good days'. However I've had no problem with this product what so ever!
Which for me is pretty amazing!
You can see how long my lashes look in the photo above!
Another plus for me on this product is that it's SO much easier to use than applying false lashes.
The only annoying thing is the bits of fibre fallout you get under your eyes, but this can be wiped away.
Some of these products are new purchases that I'm loving whilst one is an old favourite!
Firstly I'm going to talk about the Maybelline The Eraser Eye Concealer.
There has been a ridiculous amount of hype around this product from everyone I watch on youtube, so I caved and purchased it.
I had put off buying this concealer for so long as I was convinced that there wasn't a shade light enough for my skin.
However I decided to give it a go anyway & compared it with my Dream Lumi concealer & the shade was the same and I can use that. So I figured it would work. I picked up the Light shade in case you were wondering, as that was the lightest shade.
I actually quite like this product, the applicator although not very hygienic makes application very easy. Be careful though, as a little goes a long way with this product.
That said though the coverage isn't as thick as I'd like. I get more coverage from my MAC Pro Longwear.
Next I'm going to go onto the Soap & Glory Thick & Fast Mascara.
I got this at Christmas in a Soap & Glory gift set, although I have had this mascara before.
The wand is quite big, which I like for volume. However this mascara isn't great for curling but I just curl my lashes before application.
Lastly there's the Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in 'Pink In The Afternoon', which is a good old favourite of mine. I love this natural pink shade. I think it really suits me & doesn't clash with my hair, which is great. I love the formulation of these lipsticks as they are really nice and moisturising too.
