BOO Bath Melt!

BOO!
Literally! That is the name of today's product. This is Lush's Boo bath melt.
Now I've never used a bath melt before but they're rather simple really. You simply run it under the tap & pop it in the bath water.
With a combination of ginger oil & cocoa butter this bath melt is seriously moisturising & soothing.
If you're having any dry skin issues this will sort you right out!

Sparkly Pumpkin

Last but not least, it's time to take a look at Lush's Sparkly Pumpkin bubble bar.
This one is a good old classic of Lush's Halloween range, however I have to say they do seem smaller this year.
I couldn't find any info on this one however judging by the smell this very similar to the pumpkin bath bomb, as it is quite spicy too!

So quick update, having used this bubble bar - it was beautiful! It wasn't too glittery & the scent is gorgeous! I'm really disappointed I won't be able to get hold of it until next year!

Pumpkin!

I know Halloween has been & gone, but it doesn't have to be that way!
We all know that whenever there is a holiday is a Lush aftermath that follows.

So prepare for some more Lush reviews.
Today we're going to be talking about Lush's Pumpkin bath bomb. I believe this is a return item, so it did appear in last years collection.

Lush say this is a vanilla & spicy cinnamon bath bomb which is sweet & comforting. Think baking cinnamon bread! That's this bath bomb. Personally I really loved this bath bomb!
I know I'll definitely be picking some up next year.

Halloween Q&A

1. Why do you love Halloween?
I'm not really sure to be honest, it's just a really fun holiday! Lots of candy & scary creepy things, sounds good to me! I love watching paranormal stuff at this time of year too.

2. What costume sums your personality up perfectly?
Erm.. Possibly Wednesday Adams? I definitely have resting bitch face like her! haha!

3. Have you ever been to a scare attraction?
Yes! I've been to Scarefest at Alton Towers! Their scare mazes are amazing, although I haven't been in a few years now! They do have a lot of new ones this year though.

4. Previous Halloween costumes?
I've only properly dressed up once & it was a few years ago now. I dressed as Mrs Freddy Krueger & yes I did do the make up for it too!

5.Favourite horror film?
God that's a hard question! I'm really not sure on that one, partly because a lot of horror films are crap! haha! I think the best horror films are psychological horrors, they're so much more intense!

6. Do you believe in ghosts?
I'm honestly not sure. I personally have never had a ghost or paranormal experience so I find it really hard to believe really. As a photographer as well I'm well aware of what can be done in photoshop. I don't know really!

7. What are you craving in your pumpkin this year?
I haven't decided yet, but we will be vlogging our pumpkin craving for vlogaween!

Spooky Decor

It's finally Halloween week!
So if you hadn't already (I had) decorated the house, now is the time.
Check the images & video for this blog post to see how I've decorated mine house this year. We have only decorated inside because I couldn't really find any nice outdoor props/ decor.
Maybe next year!
I mostly put my money into candles & cute pumpkins!
Most of the items I got are from Sainsbury's, a few things from Asda & then the candles from their respective brand shops. I would say shop around, as you might not find everything you're looking for in just one shop!
I also tried to get items that I knew I could keep for next year, so durable & quality products!
Enjoy the video too!

American Horror Story Favourites!

As it's Halloween week I wanted to post something along that theme.
So I'm going to be sharing some my favourite moments from American Horror Story!

This obviously isn't going to contain much from season 5 as we are only 4 episodes in.

I personally love American Horror Story and started watching them a good few years ago now. After binge watching the first two seasons on Netflix I was hooked.

My favourite season is either Asylum or Coven. Honestly I loved them both for different reasons.

So into some of my favourite moments (in no order):

Coven: Witch's Council try to blame Fiona & Spaldings denial.

I love this whole scene. It is acted out perfectly by every cast member involved. Fiona remains so cool the whole time. And as for Spalding well his love story is just great. Not many guys would do that for the woman they love!

Freak Show: Twisty's Story

Like I a lot of people I loved the Twisty character, and even more so once we heard his story. It's very enlightening & explains his crazy misunderstood behaviour. Although I do think it's a shame he didn't appear more in the season.

Freak Show: How Elsa lost her legs

Another crazy backstory from Freak Show, actually both are in the same episode (it's quite an episode)! Elsa reveals the horrifying way in which she lost both of her legs. Note: this one isn't for the fault hearted.

Hotel: An introduction to Mr March

Can you tell I love a story? I also love this character! I know we still don't know that much about him but I still think he's brilliant. A crazy charismatic character is Mr March & when I say crazy I mean psycho killer crazy. However I find him a very likeable guy! I can't wait to see what he has in store for us!

What's your favourite AHS moment?

Halloween is coming!

It's that time of year again where the creepy/ scary & gross tutorials hit youtube.
And I have to say.. I love it!

So I thought I'd channel my Halloween character from last year & show you guys how I created this make up.

The classic horror character I'm talking about is Freddy Krueger from Nightmare on Elm Street.
Well the costume is in fact 'Miss Freddy', but I didn't want to just go with a jumper dress & some cute accessories.
What's Halloween without a little horror!

This tutorial is quick special effects free tutorial. Anyone with the most basic of make up kits can do this look!

Fall Make Up

Sadly summertime is well & truly over (shreds a tear)!

So with that come a change in make up style.
I don't tend to stick religiously to trends but I do love a dark vampy lip in the fall!

I also quite like a matte semi-smokey eye look.
I mean why not it is October & Halloween is coming!

The key products for this look are the eye shadow palette & lipstick mainly.
The palette I'm using is the Urban Decay Naked Basics 2, using the darker colour to the right hand side of the palette.
The lipstick that I'm loving is MAC's Rebel. It's just the perfect dark berry colour!

Crazy Creepy Clown!

I enjoyed filming my first Halloween make up tutorial so much that I decided to film another!

This one is a crazy/ creepy clown.

Again it's quite an easy simple look, using no latex, etc. Just make up. The look is made up of just face paint and various eyeshadows!

However this look did take me about 50 minutes to complete, so make sure you have plenty of time to spare if you attempt it yourself.

Lets get creepy!

Here is my second Halloween themed instalment!

This make up tutorial is meant to be kind of a 'general purpose' Halloween tutorial. By this I mean it can be adapted and used for a variety of different Halloween characters (devils, zombies, vampires etc).

It's also pretty damn simple!

I do also include a bit of hair fluffing in this video, although my hair naturally loves being a big mess anyway so that was all pretty easy!

Check out the tutorial below:

Halloween's coming!

I don't know about you guys but I love Halloween!

So I wanted to film some Halloween themed videos this year, here is my first.
It is a dripping blood nail tutorial.

This nail tutorial could work on anyone and I think with any sort of costume!

Also you don't have to strictly use the same nail polishes as me, just either use what you have or like brand wise.

Watch the tutorial here to learn how to do this nail look:
