Literally Hand Food!

I am not really one for hand creams, I use them when I have to but generally I don't really like them.
However..

I have found one that I LOVE!
It is Soap & Glory's Hand Food in the Sugar Crush scent.

I have tried the original one & like the formula, but I find the smell goes off very quickly which isn't nice. The sugar Crush one though! It's just amazing!

Firstly I love the sugar crush scent range from Soap & glory anyway! To be honest I think it's my favourite of all their scents. It's a delightful sweet citrus scent, very unique & refreshing!

I also love the formula of this hand cream, it's very much the same as the original. So if you like the original, you'll most likely love this one too! It's a moisturising but none greasy formula. I can't stand greasy hand creams, let's face it, we're all too busy for that nonsense.
This isn't super super moisturising, but I prefer my hand creams that way, as this trait is what makes a lot of them really greasy.

I only own the sample size of this product, but these sample sizes usually last me at least 6 - 8 months. To be honest I'm not exactly sure you can get a full size of this product, or buy it outside of a gift set. If you do see it though, I would very much advise picking it up!

Roller Lash

As most of you know by now I'm quite a big fan of Benefit Cosmetics as a brand.
They're packaging & products are generally amazing!

So I decided to finally try their Roller Lash Mascara.
I love the They're Real mascara & have claimed it as my holy grail since trying it. However when my eyes are feeling sensitive I just can't wear it. There's something about either the formula or the wand that just makes my eyes go crazy!
Hence why I wanted to try this one, as it claims to be more of a natural not so intensive lash look.

First of all, as usual Benefit are killing it with the cute packaging. A lot of brands really don't try when it comes to sample sizes, not Benefit though!

Onto the shape of the wand, it looks great. I have tried curved wands in the past (by Maybelline) and really liked them, I think they really can help keep a curl! This one is exactly the same. Even without curling my lashes this mascara gave them an awesome curl. I was even getting compliments on how nice my lashes looked (that says something).

The formula is also really nice! It doesn't disappear halfway through the day or flake away. The formula & wand also (most importantly) don't hurt or bother my eyes in the slightest! Ideal!
Overall I think Benefit have done it again & made a really amazing mascara.

I can definitely see myself buying the full size of this once I run out!

Horsey Holy Grail - Coconut Oil

With everything I do, I like to tie in all of my interests.
If you guys didn't know, I have a horse & having been horse riding for many years.

This also seems to be a topic I haven't seen many blogs cover!

So onto the product I want to talk about...
Coconut oil!

Coconut oil is a holy grail in general for a lot of people, I don't use it much for myself. My horse however...

My horse has very pink skin (he's an Appaloosa colour, so it's a mixture of black & pink) and this means the minute the ground dries out he gets scabby skin. Specifically on his fetlocks, which is not ideal. What can make this worse is if the horse over reaches too, which my horse does sometimes.

I didn't really know what to use on them, as a lot of products we've used in the past haven't worked that well. Some of the products we have been recommended & used in the past have also had a lot of strong chemicals in them, which I don't like the idea of much.
So I decided to go all natural & try coconut oil!

It is amazing stuff!
It's completely got rid of any scabs on his first fetlocks & reduced them significantly on his back fetlocks. We still apply it daily to keep the fetlocks moist & prevent new scabs forming, but it seems to be working at keeping them at bay.

He also has been suffering with some mild sweet itch and the coconut oil has eased that too!
He's pretty much stopped scratching both his tail & mane.

Sunday Skin Secrets: Simple Micellar Water

In the beauty world micellar waters are a very hyped product, however it wasn't until recently that they've become quite readily available at the drugstore.

I believe Garnier were the first company to release theirs, which I haven't tried.
The brand that interested me was Simple.

I use quite a few different Simple products and generally love their skincare range.
There has only been one product by the brand that didn't agree with my skin, which was the eye make up remover.

Which leads me nicely onto my next point. This product is the only make up removing product I have ever been able to use on my eyes! This is a revelation to me! So if you have really sensitive eyes I would advise giving this a go! (Face wipes obviously work but I hate using them).

This product really has changed my skincare routine! I love it!
It's my go to product for removing make up & for beginning my nighttime routine. To me it's just perfect!
As it's by Simple it has no scent which I also really like, I think make up removers especially shouldn't have a scent.

Overall the only problem I have with this product is that the bottle isn't that big (200ml), I've finished a bottle in only a month...
Oops...
But that shows how much I've used it & love it!

Pore-formance report

I'm sure if you're even slightly into make up you will have heard the hype about this product!

This is the Benefit Porefessional!

This product has been a lot of people's 'holy grail' for a while, sadly not for me though.

I'm not going to beat around the bush here, I just feel like it doesn't do a lot!
And with it's £24.50 price tag I feel it's ridiculously overpriced!

So here's why I'm not a fan:

First off this product has a very strong and rather unpleasant smell.
But that's not all, I feel like you have to use quite a lot of this if you place it all over the face because it doesn't seem to go very far.

I will say I do see some blurring/ pore minimising effect when I pat the product in, especially on my nose.
So it does work. I just don't feel that it does enough to warrant the price!

I personally prefer the L'Oreal Skin Perfection Primer, which is £10 cheaper than this product!
