I normally tend to stick to the info when it comes to these Lush blog posts, however I just can't with this one. This is their Milky Bath Bubble Bar & you know what I think it's one of my new favourites.
If you love a clean crisp bath experience, you will love this. It has a lovely clean scent & produces pure white bubbles. Very pretty!
It is also really quite moisturising without covering you in glitter.
This one is just a quick one, but I thought I'd post it as I personally love unboxing videos!
This was one of the Lush gift sets I received at Christmas. Personally I think these Lush sets are perfect gifts. They comes with some lovely product combinations & are already wrapped for you.
This one is Lush's classic Snow Fairy set. Snow Fairy is this 'go to' festive product.
Last but not least, it's time to take a look at Lush's Sparkly Pumpkin bubble bar.
This one is a good old classic of Lush's Halloween range, however I have to say they do seem smaller this year.
I couldn't find any info on this one however judging by the smell this very similar to the pumpkin bath bomb, as it is quite spicy too!
So quick update, having used this bubble bar - it was beautiful! It wasn't too glittery & the scent is gorgeous! I'm really disappointed I won't be able to get hold of it until next year!
I know Halloween has been & gone, but it doesn't have to be that way!
We all know that whenever there is a holiday is a Lush aftermath that follows.
So prepare for some more Lush reviews.
Today we're going to be talking about Lush's Pumpkin bath bomb. I believe this is a return item, so it did appear in last years collection.
Lush say this is a vanilla & spicy cinnamon bath bomb which is sweet & comforting. Think baking cinnamon bread! That's this bath bomb. Personally I really loved this bath bomb!
I know I'll definitely be picking some up next year.
As usual Lush have you covered on this one, with their Yoga Bath Bomb.
This one is actually a repurchase for me because I enjoyed it so much the first time I used it.
I will warn you now this bath bomb does have some glitter in it, so if you're not of a fan of that it might not be for you. However it's scent is pure bliss & relaxation. I'm not really sure what it is about this bath bomb but it really is relaxing, creating calm & peace whilst you bathe.
So if you're in serious need of some chilled you time, this is a bath bomb I would definitely recommend!
That's right, I have another Lush demo & review for you.
What can I say, I'm just in love with the stuff at the moment.
So the product we're reviewing today is their Dragon's Egg Bath Bomb.
So this bath bomb is meant to be very citrusy making it refreshing & invigorating.
It is also meant to change you bath water to a beautiful golden colour, hidden inside the egg.
I will say the citrus scent of this bath bomb is right up my street, I love scents like that. It really does refresh you & perk you up a bit. I also love the little colourful bursts it gives off whilst fizzing away.
However the only problem I had with this bath bomb is it didn't completely dissolve, so I was left with a big lump floating round my bath.
I mean lets be honest there's just so much stuff to try.
I recently hauled a few things from Lush, so as usual I'd like to review them.
Today we're going to be talking about Big Blue.
Big Blue is one of their bath bombs from their permeant range. It is meant to evoke summer time and the seaside, as it contains sea salt & seaweed. It's scent is perfect beachiness, which I think is really nice & refreshing.
The combination of seaweed & sea salt makes for really exfoliating yet softening on the skin.
It also contains oils which act to clear the mind, cleanse & as an antiseptic. So if you're feeling a little stressed & are having some skin issues this bath bomb is the one for you. I actually keep getting bitten at the moment, due to the weather & the antiseptic in this bath bomb has soothed them lovely!
The only thing I don't like is removing the seaweed from the bath. It does tend to get stuck in the plughole, so be prepared to get it out with your hands (not so relaxing).
I mean let's face it we all love watching Lush demos, there's something oddly satisfying about them!
So today we're looking a bath bomb, which is from Lush's Christmas range.
I haven't heard anything about this bath bomb, I hadn't even seen it before.
So this one was a total surprise to me.
It's the Star Dust bath bomb.
It's description reads: Soak in starlit waters bearing exotic gifts of Fair Trade vanilla & precious Peruvian rosewood.
So although this this bath bomb seems a little dull, it's anything but! It fizzes revealing a light pale blue colour. It also reveals an array of colourful tiny stars, which is super cute.
Over time these little stars dissolve making for a super moisturising bath.
Due to it's size I imagine this probably one of their cheaper bath bombs available & I'd say definitely give it a try next winter!
So I couldn't help myself, I headed into Lush the other day.
I actually went in for someone else, but I just couldn't resist getting a few bath bombs!
I actually wanted to get Unicorn Horn but I couldn't find it (sad face), however I did still pick up one thing from their Valentine's range. I got the Lover Lamp bath bomb.
I also wanted to try out their Sex Bomb bath bomb, from the standard range.
So Lover Lamp fizzes away to release these super cute red hearts. Making for a romantic bath experience. The hearts contain cocoa butter moisturising your skin. It very much remains me of the Butterbear bath bomb, as the ingredients are very similar, with the cocoa butter & vanilla. This also has added brazilian orange oil for a hint of zest!
Sex bomb is classic at Lush, it has been a round for quite a while now. Turning your bath water a gorgeous pink colour, this bomb contains jasmine, ylang ylang & clary sage to help relax & destress. The scent is floral & seductive, perfect for a bit of you time!
Today I wanted to review Lush's YogNog bath bomb, I mean why not?
The first thing you notice about this bath bomb is the scent. I have to say it's not my favourite Lush scent, I would try & tell you what it is but I literally have no idea (which is unusual for me).
It's description reads: Raise a toast to cinder toffee soaks with spicy clove & ylang ylang.
Firstly, this bath bomb is massive! You could cut it in half & use it twice, just to get a bit more bang for your buck. It has a nice scent, but doesn't everything from Lush! However this isn't my favourite scent, I find it to be a little sweet yet powdery.
What I do love though is how this bath bomb makes your skin feel! It is super moisturising, which I imagine is the ylang ylang. In fact, if you watch the demo linked below you can see two yellow moisture balls of it! It seems like a great product though, as I didn't even need to moisturise after shaving my legs.
This time we are talking about The Lord of Misrule bath bomb.
This bath bomb is another one from their Christmas collection, however the scent isn't this Christmas so I see no reason why you couldn't use this at any time in the year.
It's description reads: Revel in the bath with this wine-coloured, mystically-scented soak.
Firstly I love the scent of this bath bomb, I really couldn't describe it to you but trust me it's amazing!
After using this bath bomb I think this is my new favourite!
It fizzes away to reveal a deep purple/ pink colour, creating a really comforting & relaxing feeling for your bath water. The scent becomes a little less intense in the air, but leaves you smelling gorgeous all day & the next.
It isn't a glittery bath bomb, which is nice as some can be a little too glittery.
It's also really moisturising on your skin. I wasn't expecting that from it at all, so it was a nice little surprise. It makes your skin really soft & helps moisturise any nasty body acne you have.
Overall, love love love it! It creates the perfect bathing experience!
I know Christmas is well & truly over, but we all have some Christmas Lush stuff leftover.
So I figured it was still worth doing a little review of the some their products.
Especially if it's likely they're going to be back next year.
The one we're talking about today is the Magic of Christmas Bubble Bar.
This a reusable Bubble Bar, which comes on a stick. A lot like the Snow Fairy one!
However this one is very different from snow fairy in so many ways!
Firstly the stick is much better & can hold the weight on the product much better, in fact it's actually a cinnamon stick. Which is brilliant idea if you ask me, it also looks super cute too.
So how you use this is you simply whirl it around in your bath water & it creates cinnamon scented bubbles. It is also meant as a multi-use bubble bar!
So onto my thoughts.
I like this concept & I like the smell of cinnamon a lot. The reusable aspect of it is great too, as it makes it much better value for money. The only thing I will say is this product is a little glittery. This doesn't bother me, but if you hate glitter you'll not be a big fan.
The only other thing I will say is the bar tends to break down by the stick quite quickly, which can lead to it falling over so just be aware of that when using it.
Overall though I'm enjoying using this bubble bar & still am! I just wish the scent was a bit stronger!
So it's time to sort through all the goodies from the past month. I am quite the fan of beauty advent calendars, so this year I decided to try The Body Shop's!
Firstly the packaging is super cute & festive. It really is 24 happy days!
The inside packaging is just as amazing, with these present tag designed boxes.
Each containing a lovely bath, body or beauty based item.
I'll admit like most calendars there are the odd products that are 'filler' gifts, however there were only 2 within this calendar. Which is a lot better than some of the previous calendars I've had!
Check out the video below for my full unboxing & see what goodies are inside!
What better way to do it than with a Lush bath bomb.
One of my favourites is the Butter Bear bath bomb!
It's definitely not the most colourful or crazy bath bomb that they do, however it is amazing none the less.
It has a lovely cocoa & vanilla scent, which isn't too overpowering. So if you're not a fan of over-scented products you'll love this one. It fizzes away revealing a lovely luxurious bath oil.
If you have dry skin or just need a little added moisture Butter Bear is perfect!
The oil also makes shaving super easy, as the oil acts like a shaving oil so no foam/gel necessary. It also means you don't need to moisturise after! Win win or what?!?
If you love this bath bomb too, the same formulation is available all year round as the Butterball.
